Silver Dollar Lake
In November 2001, Tracy and I did up to Silver Dollar Lake, and Jessica and I did a hike up to Square Top Lake. Both trails are at Guanella Pass. It’s nice up there, and it’s not a far drive from Denver.

Lost Creek
In October 2001, we hiked a lot in the Lost Creek Wilderness and on the Lost Creek Trail. I really liked that place, just because it was relaxing and didn’t have a lot of other people.
Hunter-Fryingpan Wilderness
In September 2001, we took our first backpacking trip in Colorado into the Hunter-Fryingpan Wilderness. It was a really nice hike, and there weren’t any other people out there. The lake was nice, and the elevation gain wasn’t too bad.
