In October 2004, we decided to go check out our old college stomping grounds in north-east Tennessee, and hiked up on Holston Mountain to the Flint Rock overlook to try to see the fall colors around Holston Lake. I had hiked to this overlook in the fall once in college, and it was great, but my pictures were all from a cheap camera, so I wanted to try again with a better camera. Well, the colors were great, but the weather was not at all helpful, and you can’t really see the colors. We also went down to the Holston Lake afterwards, and I tried to recapture some fog pictures on this lake that I had also once taken with my cheap camera.
