On 9 Sep 13, I took a hike at Causey Reservoir after work to enjoy the fall weather and to look for the salmon. I had the hike to myself, which was great. When I reached the inlet stream where I had the salmon before, I didn’t see any fish. On closer inspection, though, I saw signs of fish, including a dead salmon, and some eggs, so I figured I was too late. I decided to head a little further up stream, though, and I found a few salmon lingering in some small pools. I expected to see signs of bears, but I didn’t notice any.
