From Nov 4-14, 2011, I took a trip home to Tennessee. I’ve been trying to hike other places besides Norris Lake when I go home because that’s where I always go. But it’s so nice in the fall, that I just can’t help it, so I hiked a couple of times out there…once with my dad and once with David. David and I also hiked on the North Fork Citico Creek Trail. It was nice making the creek crossings during a warm November. I also taught a GPS class for Benjy’s students at UT, and that was fun. As always, home in the fall was great.
Deep ThoughtsThe very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun. - Jon Krakauer
