On July 9, 2016, we took a trip with the Huntsville Grotto to Perkins Cave in Alabama. This cave is on private property and requires a bit of a hike down the mountain to get to it. There wasn’t much to the cave until we got to the back and found several well-decorated rooms. The back of the cave definitely made the trip worth it. Supposedly there are other tunnels, but we couldn’t find them. So that gives us a good reason to go back!
